Jen Krieger

President of the Board

Jen Krieger is a technology enthusiast with 20+ years of experience in delivering software and infrastructure development products in open source software environments. She is passionate about building strong happy teams, taking a no BS approach, and ensuring that effective lean process improvement is a cornerstone of any organizations she supports. She is most proud of the time she spent as Red Hat's Chief Agilist, leading teams into agility in a way that respected and supported Red Hat’s commitment to Open Source, while modernizing and transforming their entire 2B Red Hat Enterprise Linux business. Now Jen is excited to start the next step in her career at GitHub where she leads the Technical Program Management team.

Kathy Hartzler

Treasurer of the Board

Kathy is an operational leader with a track record supporting financial operational strategic plans. Takes a macroscopic view of operational processes, software, and people in order to analyze and restructure cross-functionally across the business to meet the highest level of excellence and make a positive impact. Works to improve financial health, build company cultures to energize employees and clients, and streamline various company processes to generate tangible results. When Agile was introduced to me several years ago, I was excited to use and share many of the principles in finance and operations. Kanban boards, Retrospectives and Swim Lanes rocked my world! When I power down my laptop, I can quickly pivot to tennis, paddle boarding, gardening or cooking.

Lori Langston

Secretary of the Board

Lori Langston is a Native of Colorado, working in the Denver area for 30+years. I have my SAFe Program Consultant (SPC 5) certification and have been a practicing ScrumMaster at Aetna - a CVS company for over 3 years. Prior to that, I spent time as a business analyst and project manager. My goal is to support the Agile Denver members and provide opportunities for their professional and personal growth. I want to help people make connections and encourage practice in a community of practice. The seeds for servant leadership and the productive growth of people working in teams has always been my motivation in work. I hope to bring energy and action to Agile Denver, to provide the kinds of informational and social interactions that we need collectively to be able to thrive and lead others. Outside of work, I like to hike, practice yoga, and read. My happy place is a hot springs resort, or the zoo!

Lieschen Gargano

Lieschen Gargano is an agilest and facilitator extraordinaire. In her current role as Product Owner for Scaled Agile, Inc., she is focused on improving value delivery. She has a Master’s degree in conflict resolution and a background in large-scale change and conflict management. Away from the office, Lieschen sits on the Boulder County Planning Commission, takes full advantage of having a chef husband, and loves playing with her young daughter and border collie.

William Kammersell

Director At Large

William Kammersell is Director of Product Management at Scaled Agile, Inc. and loves building tools that help Teams realize their full potential using agile methods. He’s previously worn multiple agile hats, including Developer, Scrum Master, Product Manager, and Agile Coach. When he’s not a PI Planning hype man, he loves cooking, geocaching, and fixing whatever the kids have broken around the house.

Christen McLemore

Christen McLemore is a recovering Project Manager and recovering Agile Purist. With decades of practical experience coaching, leading agile transformations and consulting Fortune 100 companies, she took the leap to start her own business. She is dedicated to serving the agile coaching community by promoting Leadership, Love and Belonging!
With her quick wit and loving irreverence, Christen is known for her raw and humorous discussions with people struggling to be brave and successful in today’s sometimes callous, alienating workplaces. People appreciate her thoughtful, direct and grounding guidance that almost always ends with a mutual laugh and an f’bomb for good measure.
Christen lives in Colorado with her rescued Great Pyrenees, Madeline. You'll likely find the two of them camping, finding new places for inspiration and visiting with friends year round.

Ronica Roth

Director At Large

Ronica wants to change the world of work, helping companies build learning organizations that honor the individual, give everyone the chance to do what they do best, and harness the power of teams to amplify great work and produce great stuff (including software).

Throughout her software career, and particularly since beginning to adopt Agile practices, she has helped business people and technologists collaborate daily to plan and prioritize investments and backlogs for value, quality, and innovation.

As an agile consultant and services leader since 2003, Ronica has coached executives; helped dozens of companies transform; and nurtured one world-class agile consultancy, building a tribe of passionate, dedicated professionals who continue to change the world of work.

In Jan 2019, Ronica co-founded Elevate, which partners with leadership teams to help them deliver lasting positive change within their organizations. Together we leverage collaborative strategy articulation and leadership storytelling to align an empowered organization of people and teams to do great work.

Serving on the board of Agile Denver is another opportunity to nurture the change she want to see in the world: Serving the people who are creating organizations where people learn together and thrive together.
